How it works

Three steps. Then a number you can defend.

The estimator checks live availability and pricing across major travel suppliers, blends that with our own destination-by-destination spend corpus, and produces a single headline figure with an honest confidence band — itemized into six categories, each with its assumption visible.

One caveat: travel prices are dynamic. Estimates are accurate within 10% of actual cost 90%+ of the time if you book within a day. Wait two weeks and supply-side fluctuations can move the number either way. We re-quote on demand whenever you ask.

Tell it where

Destination, dates, party size, and one of three style tiers — budget, comfort, lux. That is the whole form. No 30-question intake survey, no "tell us about your travel style" essay.

It cites the math

Every figure shows the assumption behind it: fare class, hotel band, daily food spend, the number of paid attractions. Edit any of them; the total updates live. The estimator is a calculator with opinions, not a black box.

You get a range

A single headline figure with an honest ±% band. We will not tell you a trip costs $1,500–$5,000. We will tell you $3,840 with a 12% band, and show you why. The number is one you can pitch to a partner without flinching.

Six categories, modeled separately

Where the numbers come from.

Flights

Live fares from major airline distribution channels. Class (economy / premium / business), lead time, and refundability are all parameters you can adjust.

Lodging

Live rates from global hotel inventory plus our own curated corpus for boutique stays APIs miss. Sorted by tier (hostel / mid-range / boutique / lux) and refundability.

Food & drink

Per-destination daily spend bands from public cost-of-living indices and on-the-ground research. Tier-aware (street food → fine dining), updated quarterly.

Local transit

City-by-city public-transport day passes, airport-to-centre transfers, intercity rail/bus base rates. Cars are off by default; opt in for road trips.

Activities

Modeled as paid attractions per day at the destination's tier. Museum / tour / experience averages compiled from public booking platforms and editorial sources.

Misc + buffer

SIM, visa, travel insurance, gear, gifts, and an honest 8% buffer for the things every traveler forgets. Adjustable.

One question per row. One number per row. One band on the total.

That's the entire product. No tracking pixel, no upsell, no rounded-up suggestion to stretch your trip into a higher hotel band.
